INSURANCE

The Basic Comprehensive insurance covers, the driver stated in the rental agreement. Insurance can be arranged for additional drivers at a charge of € 50,00 per person, subject to our insurer’s approval and a maximum of 4 drivers all of age is between 25 and 75 years old. Basic protection is included in the quoted rental price. Basic protetion is an insurance cover (third party insurance) with a maximum indemnity for personal injury pair to Euro 7.000.000 and a maximum indemnity for damage to property pair to Euro 7.000.000. The driver is allowed to take out other insurance policies to cover additional risks. The driver shall be liable for any damage occurred during the rental period up to the amount of Euro 3.000,00 unless there is a specific insurance cover. The driver , in case of vehicle theft, shall pay the amount of Euro 4.000, 00 unless there is a specific insurance cover. The driver in any case, insurance covers shall not restrict any driver’s liability, which remains jointly and severally liable, together with all parties involved, until the actual compensation for damages by the vehicle insurance company and/or any other company in charge of the damage indemnity. NOTE: Basic protection is mandatory for your rental. You must either be covered by your payment card (for USA and Canadian residents) or purchase Basic protection separately.

AGE AND LICENCE RESTRICTIONS

All drivers must have held a full licence for a minimum of three years, they are subject to approval on completion of a PAC SELF-DRIVE CLASSIC CAR RENTAL – GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS form. Any convictions for drink or drug driving, dangerous or careless driving within the past 5 years will not be accepted. Overseas licenses are accepted subject to the above conditions.

BOOKING & CANCELLATION

If the hire date is less than 30 days from the date you would like to confirm your hire then we require full payment to complete a booking. If the hire date is over 30 days from the date you would like to confirm then we will require a 20% deposit . Deposits are non-refundable. Refundale upon cancellation within 60 days prior to hire date 50% of the total agreed; 30 days prior to hire date 0% total agreed. All our customers are welcome to re-schedule a booking within the 2 months after the original hire date free of charge.

EXCESS & SECURITY DEPOSIT

(A) As a security bond

(B) As payments towards any mechanical damage which is not covered by our Insurers, eg, tyres, wheels, clutch, gearbox and which was sustained during the hire period, excluding normal wear and tear, due to misuse and abuse.

(C) As an insurance excess against any accidental damage or loss caused to the vehicle by a third party or the hirer. The hirer is liable for the amount shown as Excess Deposit. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is available to reduce this. Please see below.

(D) Additional charges incurred for fines or legal disputes
LIABILITY: PAC liability is limited to a refund of the hire charge. No consequential loss liability will be covered.

COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER:

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces your liability against accidental damage to the car, including theft and vandalism, regardless of who is at fault. At a nominal extra charge CDW is now available and if accepted, the liability will reduce as detailed below. CDW: Original Excess € 3.000,00 – Reduces to € 0,00 on payment of additional CDW at € 150* per day per car or € 500,00* per week. Original Excess € 4.000 for theft and fire Reduces to € 0,00 on payment of additional CDW at € 150,00* per day per car or € 500,00 per week.

USE OF VEHICLE

The hirer may use the vehicle for the purpose of their business and for social domestic and pleasure purposes. The vehicles may not be used for any purposes for which they are not expressly designed. Further, the hirer will not use or permit the vehicles to be used for hire, driving tuition, towing, racing or pace-making, or for competing in any rally, or any other form of motor sport, track days, or for any illegal purpose whatsoever.

PETROL

You will be provided with a full tank of petrol and the vehicle must be returned with a full tank. If, however, this is not the case any reimbursement for petrol will be charged at the pump price, plus € 60,00 administration charge.

HOURS OF HIRE

1 full day covers from 9am-9am the following day (24hrs).

1 full day midweek covers from 9am to 9am the following day. Single weekend hirer covers from 10am to 9am the following day.

Full weekend hire covers from noon on Friday to noon on Monday.

DELIVERY

Delivery or collection to any Apulian areas address can be arranged from € 50,00. Please contact us for a quote.

All cars are offered subject to availability.

PRICES

Prices are subject to change without prior notice, however once a car has been booked and a payment received, we will not alter the price for that hire. All rentals are subject to PAC additional Terms and Conditions on the reverse of the Hire Agreement and all drivers are subject to approval by PAC and the company’s insurers.
